well hi everyone!
Im glad i found this forum
Im the very proud owner of backyard chickens and i just love my girls (yet unnamed as they all look alike) and my Buff silkies known as Fred and Georgie (formally know as George) and 2 Golden Silky roosters who go by the names of Big and Rich hehe im a country music fan!
Im also the mum of 5 human kids aged 8,7,5,3 and 16 months.
Im country girl orginally but living in the city for hubbys work.
We are giving the kids a taste of farm life with the chooks and so the kids really enjoy collecting the eggs and patting the silkies (very friendly).
I would love to meet more chicken minded people like myself as everyone else i know looks at me strange when i start getting excited about my chooks laying or brooding
