Hi Everyone I'm new to the site and new to owning silkie bantams. I live in Victoria,Australia I'm 25 years old and my name is Tara. I just brought my first 3 silkie bantams on the 11th of april. I hope to learn more and talk to people who own and love them.

I have recently joined as well but was a lurker for years. I would come to this site and read and study up, for when the day came I actually had my own chick. I purchased my silkies last week and so far they have been so much fun. I knew 7 years ago this was the breed for me. Congrats on your 3 new chicks! I have a feeling that you will want more though. You will find this board very helpful, I think it is great!
