My name is Lori and I am a teacher. I have been a teacher for the last 8 years and I started hatching chicken about 7 years ago.
I hatched my first chickens in the classroom and then I was hooked. I have about 9 chickens at the moment. I I just put 12 eggs in the incubator last week and my students are really excited.

I currently have 2 Barred Rocks, 1 Maran, 3 Americauna's, and 3 that I took in but I don't know what they are.

I love having fresh eggs from my chickens and watching them root around the yard to find treasures they love.

i enjoy sewing when I have time and going on vacation to the mountains.

Hi Lori!
I am a teacher as well. Incubating eggs in my classroom ignited my obsession with chickens! I started with 2 and now have 19 with chicks in a brooder and more eggs in my incubator........
