They will take a bit to get changed over to the pellets, I mixed mine with some cumbles and let them eat, and you may want to feed them grower until they start to lay. I put out a bit of scratch in the morning just to give them something to eat in the run..
The main thing is they do not need layer until they start laying then you can switch them over to the layer or feed them a flock raiser and always add some oyster shell in a pan for them to eat as needed.
