Hi I'm new to Backyard chickens

Hi, I'm Heather, I am new to chickens, I will be getting six chicks in one month, very excited!!! I am getting two Buff Orpintons, two Barred rocks and Two Ameraucanas. I found Backyard chickens from my friend at work who has a farm. My husband and kids are also happy to be getting chickens. We have two dogs and two cats. I am a veterinary technician and love animals.
