Glad to meet you, and welcome to BYC. What are your hens like? Are they and you doing well in the frosty weather?

Hi. Nice to meet you too. We are all doing well. Sassy, my Rhode island red is being ostracized right now, at least during the day. She is roosting with the other girls at night, though. The other hens are a Rhode island red cross, golden coloring on their feathers. None of them are easy to catch. I use a large fishing net when I have to catch one of them. Not handled enough as chicks, I guess. They all have their own personalities. Georgie is my curious one, Goofy is just that. Penny seems to be in charge right now. Road runner is very fast and hard to catch. Funny foot had bumble foot with a growth on top of her foot, so that name just stuck. Copper has more gold feathers than the rest. Goldie just because I was trying to think of another name and that is all of them.
