Hi. My name is Brenda and I'm brand new here.

This is my first time raising chickens.

How I got started: My husband and I had to stop off at our local feed store to pick something up and they had baby chicks there; I fell in love instantly. My husband and I came home and immediately started researching the care and how to raise baby chicks, then the planning on getting everything ready to bring some babies home. The following weekend, we went back and picked out 7 beautiful Rhode Island Red babies.

They are now 11 weeks old. I love my babies so much. They have brought me so much joy just in the short time I have had them, I look forward to much more time to be able to spend with them in the years to come.
