Hi! I'm new

Hello from Texas and welcome to the good life of chicks and eggs. Now for a warning.

When my pullets were chicks, I had the idea of getting my three Boston Terriers acquanted with the chicks and visa versa. I took one of the chicks inside, holding it close to my chest. I sat down in the big rocker in the living room. The biggest and oldest got onto my lap and sniffed the chick, then the little girl dog took his place and did the same. Just as the little girl dog jumped down, the sweetest of the three, Delroy jumped four feet and snapped the chicks head off before I saw him move. We now concider him a stone cold killer.

I have preditor proofed my run and the coop is a fortress. They do what is natural. They are decendants of foxes. You must never trust them to coexist.
