(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to chickens, but have been advocating and helped get a law passed so we could have chickens within our city limits. I currently have an empty 1970s Esther Williams pool that my deck is built around and I am dreaming of making it into a chicken run with a few raised garden beds. Am I crazy?
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
currently zero chickens, but am hoping to start with 4
(3) What breeds do you have?
none, but actively learning what would be the best breed for Missouri 6A.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Getting eggs is a bonus, but moreso just to have the experience and show some lovin' to some chickens
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
building, film and photography
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
2 dogs, 3 indoor cats, 2 goldfish and too many plants
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
