Hey! happy i joined the site. Just a little about me and my flock. Im a huge animal lover. I have all kinds of pets besides chickens. Im a small town gal. I live on a farm. My flock includes:

Rhode island reds, buff orpingtons, red sex-linked, dominique, white leggers (thts wat we call em round here), and i have new chicks which are :
Black sex-linked , blue laced wyandotte and more red sex- linked. Adult and chicks altogether i have 21 chickens.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join to our flock. You have some really good layers in your flock. Black Sex Links are my favorites; hardy and friendly, egg laying machines. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds and hybrids), and they have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

I raise various 'Common" chickens, Black Copper Marans, Pure white Silkies and both White and Indian Blue Peacocks. I have sold eggs on eBay with good luck with hatching, even shipping all over the US. I am looking forward to a great hatch this year. I am also going to start selling day old chicks, just need to figure out all the details.
