Is it safe to feel my chickens apple and do I have to take skin off and cut it up for them also can I feed them banana or peach

Hi, welcome to BYC!

Apples, bananas, peaches all are good treats for chickens. I take the peel off the bananas but some don't and for apples all I do is cut them into slices so they'll fit in a hanging feeder in our girl's run.

Welcome I am pretty new here also.

I found a list of what they can and cannot eat and printed it out. I don't remember where I found it but I know Pinterest has tons of them.

I'm new as well, we just bought a chicken tractor and 2 two week old chicks. One leghorn and one araucana. We're excited, but newbies. I'll follow so I know what else I can feed them once they're older.

It seems there's quite an age variance in when people introduce treats to chicks...so do it when they are a few days old, some wait until older. I think you're ok at 2 weeks as long as they have some grit too. That's my opinion, others might say differently.
