Hi, I'm Richie and I'm incubating quail

:welcome :frow If you can hatch in a little Giant incubator you can hatch in most anything. This thread might help you. Good luck and have fun...

I read it but I have the fan kit, egg turner and quail rails. I don't have a needle hygrometer but I have an acurite indoor thermo/hygrometer in the incubator.

My humidity is reading 47 on the LG and 57 on the acurite.

Temp on my calibrated meat thermometer is about 99f (bubble is just about at egg level), 99.6 on the LG and 97 on the acurite.

I'm hoping to get about 12 out of the 48 on my first go around. Eggs were fresh (less than four days) and local. Sprayed 50/50 OG listerine and water on the eggs and dried (slightlyrednecked on youtube) candled for cracks. Eggs rested about 24 hours before incubating
