I'm a single mom in UK, and I inherited adopted four little chicks from a local school.we were informed one is a rooster and the others are girls.
I don't have another of space so I'm baby sitting them while out of the coop.
400

They do get to roam inside on occasion when weather isn't great.
I don't know what breed they are looks like they are hybrids if that's incorrect I don't mind being corrected I'm here to learn....
They are about 9werks old I think again I don't have an exact date
Any way hi to everyone hope to interact with u all soon x

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. You have three Red Sex Link pullets and a Cornish cross cockerel. Red Sex Links are laying machines, and you will get loads of large, brown eggs from them, but you need to butcher that Cornish cross very soon. If you wait much later than 10 weeks, Cornish cross begin developing serious heath problems due to their abnormal growth rates. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Glad you joined!

You have a pretty little flock there, I agree with the other members, the red and white ones look like red sexlink pullets (I think they are called Warrens over there). They are very productive birds, you should get lots of eggs off of them. The white one may be a red sexlink cockerel, but keep an eye one him, if he starts growing very fast and becomes much larger than the others, he may well be a cornish cross meat bird.

You're welcome. You should get loads of eggs from those three RSL girls. Good luck with Charles. :o)

That white one  is probably the rooster.  He is really big,  I hope he isn't a  Cornish x  (meat bird).  Would you know if the school had any of those?  Welcome to BYC.
I'll get as much information as possible yes when I got them they were five weeks old and I was told he is a.rooster
