(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got my first 2 in 2019.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I am currently at 6 I might get 1 more.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Most of them are mixed. I have a buff orpington mix, a leghorn mix, a polish and Australorp mix, a silkie and an Australorp mix.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I think they are so neat and fun to watch. They are so sweet and a lot smarter than I thought they would be. I also dig their little individual personalities.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like nature in general but I do also play video games. Walk my puppy. I also watch tons of movies.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Currently I live with my brother but I've been in a relationship for 7 years and my partner has 2 kids that I love very much. I have my own 9 month old puppy and my partner has a 2 year old dog. I work for the state of Washington in 3rd party fraud prevention.
