Hi I'm Sherry

Welcome to BYC, Sherry! Word of advice, do not try to introduce one chicken into a flock. It generally doesn't go well and the single chicken will be an outcast. Get at least two more if you add to your flock and be careful, there are so many diseases out there.

Hiya, Sherry, and welcome to BYC! :frow

That sounds like a cool job you have! I'm retired police and miss the sleuthing. :)

If you'd not mind sharing any pictures of your flock or pets, we'd love to see them!

We're glad you're here!
Some of them are moulting so they look a little funny lol

Awe, but beautiful all the same! Thank you for sharing!
My pleasure 😊 I love being around people who love chickens.
Mine are named after the characters from the show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia because it's one of my favorite shows lol. I have Mac (the leghorn) Artimus (the silkie), Frankie (the polish mix that is moulting), Sweet Dee (the astrolorp mix I think), The Waitress (the orpington or she might be a Brahma I think, she is the yellow one that is moulting), and Charlie (I think she is a barnevelder mix)
My dad lives on a big farm and gives me his chickens and they are all mixes so I don't always know what they are.
