We have an acre and a half in Melbourne and bought home 2 chicks from my daughter's daycare 5 weeks ago.

We've bought them the Taj Mahal Coup, aka 'Chick-Inn' from BYC coops, and are happily 1 step closer to our permaculture plot dream!

Being new to chickens I am looking forward to advice and suggestions that come from more reliable sources and experience than Google!

My children and granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loved our chickens and made lap pets of the calmer and more gentle breeds.
