Hi everyone,
I'm new to backyard chickens, and to raising chickens. I have two 1 week old bantam cochin's. They are just the cutest creatures and love snuggling in my sleeve. Can't believe how tiny they are either. Which is good for me as my back yard is tiny. I plan on only raising two. My back yard doesn't want to grow anything except bugs so I'm sure they will be very happy and fat
I also have an African Grey, CJ, who is 15 this year. I got him just a few weeks after he hatched! I also have a cockatiel, a canary - I just love birds. Fish tank, two dogs, 1 cat and 2 degu's. I sorta live in a zoo but they all keep me company in their own way.
I've been reading up as much as I can about raising bantams and of course asking my sister all kinds of questions as she got me into this mess
I look forward to hearing about everyone's experiences with them!
