Hi! welcome to BYC. At 10 weeks old, you should be able to tell. The hen ducks will quack loudly, the drakes make more of a raspy croaky kind of sound. the drakes also develop a curled up tail feather. Drakes can be very rough on hens when mating and for sure you do not want to keep more drakes than hens. One drake is good with every 5 - 7 hens.
That’s what I have read. One has an iridescent look that is slowly changing on the head. I’m thinking we may need to get a couple more hens. I have yet to see any drake feathers. I wonder if they are younger than we were told.
