Hi, I finally decided to join. I've been wanting chickens for a while and my hubby has finally caved in and gave us the go ahead. I've been lurking for a while. My search for light sussex hens has led me to register. I was hoping I could find a place to purchase some. These will be our first chickens. I'm eager to learn all I can. Our kids are excited about getting some feathered friends, too. I'm excited to not have to drop $5 a dozen on organic/free range eggs.
