hi I am new and I love chickens I have 2 cochins and and 22 baby ones and I have 2 duck cheese and the other one ice ice baby
i respect chicken I used to have a frizzle but he died cause he got all his feathers picked off by my hen so I respect them .

So sorry about the loss of your frizzle. Feather picking of chickens usually comes from two main causes, overcrowding and/or lack of protein in their diet. In your case, it could be if the frizzle was the rarer one or ones of the flock. I had that happen with my cuckoo silkies. They were picked on by one, only because they were different. The one that did it was eliminated, and now everyone gets along.
