I am just starting. excited, picking up 20 Rhode Island Reds and Black A baby chicks soon.
I love birds and eggs too. Used to raise parrots on the side ( a Lot of work but fun ) and had a few chickens, ducks, geese in yard. Many years ago.
Retired from day job now, but I have a small native tree / wildflower farm that's very part time. Recently found BYC online researching do's and don'ts.
