We got our first chickens on June 12 of this year

We have 15 hens

Rhode Island Reds
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The prospect of getting eggs each day, taking care of animals for God's glory, homesteading as a technologist.

I have a wife and three children. I have a cat. I'm an IT professional with multiple Microsoft certifications and and still working on others.
