Hi, Tony - welcome to BYC!!! As suggested above, visiting the forum linked would be a great start - when you do post there I would suggest taking a photo of the bird so that you can show others what you are seeing and they can better help you with what may be going on with your bird.

Welcome to Backyard chickens Tony. Did you have this bump from birth, or did it just start up? Has she had any injuries that may have caused it? A good photo would certainly help. Is it a hard bump or a soft, moveable one? You could post it on "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread.
