Hiiii!!!! Last friday Sept.-7-2012 my hen hatch six beautiful chicks!!! The thing is that one of them cant stand up or even hold his head upright!! He also gets into this fetal position like when they are inside the egg i dont know why!!!! I have taken him apart and i am feeding him by hand at least he eats and drinks!!! He also flips backwards is like he does not have controlled of his body!!!! He chirps real loud heheheh and opens his eyes and everything!!!! PLiss help anybodyyy!!!! Can he get cured by any chance???

That is odd. You could try giving him elektrolytes. It might give him a boost to survive. Sometimes odd things just happen.

That's nice of you to hand-feed and water this little one. You could also try giving it vitamins. Baby vitamins (poly-vi-sol plain, without iron or fluoride) or the vitamins sold for birds at the pet stores should be ok. I have read that some neurological symptoms in chicks are caused by a lack of B vitamins, so maybe supplementing it would help.
