While I thank you for your comment, clearly I have done that I did go to a wildlife rehab center as I stated in my post. And I was turned away. They cannot and would not take her. (I went Austin Wildlife rescue @ 111 Elbow Bend Elgin TX) and they told me they would loss there license if they took my duck in - as she is not a native bird / duck - she is a khaki Campbell and *** NO *** wildlife is allowed to take “khaki Campbell” into their centers. As I stated earlier in my post I have reached out. And I’m in contact already with the number the Austin wildlife rescue gave me. So at this point either I keep her or someone else would house her, or re release back into the wild at a lake where she wouldn’t make it. So there is no need to worry she is STRONGLY protected by me as well as by the law. And she is happy in her home life with me.
Okay, I reread where you said this and it's still confusing to me there, but now reading this, is crystal clear, so I thank you for thoroughly explaining it. And in this case, please check out our Duck Articles in the Learning Center as there are tons of them that can be helpful! I will delete my post and wish you and Miss Raphael the best again! ❤️

Thank you. I’m not sure what was confusing but I guess you got it eventually. No ill will. Taken.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

What is that around her neck?
She needs to swim and water to dunk her head in.
I would also get her a friend. Ducks are flock animals and require same species companionship.
Thank you for caring for her after you found her injured.

She is an adorable khaki Campbell yes. And your set up is so cute like for a puppy. She looks quite happy. I’m wondering why she is wearing a watch around her neck?
Does she need to know what time it is lol L O L O L
Anyway, all joking aside, I’m curious what you’re feeding her as I may be able to provide a little nutritional advice
I see a water bowl, which I’m sure she loves. You will want to make sure it’s deep enough for her to stick her head in to keep her eyes and her nares cleaned.
One thing I see missing is another duck.. if at all possible provide for her a friend duck. Ducks are flock animals. They thrive amongst others of their own kind.
Welcome to BYC!
