We are new to raising chickens. We have 18 pullets that are about 1 week old. We have RIR, BR, and 6 we are not sure what they are yet. We live on 10 acres outside the City limits of a very small town called Lexington. We have 2 Dobermans, a brother and sister named, Sam and Cinny. We are raising our 4 oldest grandchildren ages 8 to 13. A tank full of goldfish and a couple of stray cats and bunnies on the place we call home. We all love to fish and play with the chicks! My DH and I both work in Austin.
