I'm looking into getting a Serama Bantam (or 2) as a "house" pet(s) and I have a couple of questions to start with.

1~ Would one be OK or should I get 2?
2~ How should I house it/them? i.e.: what kind/size of cage/coop??

Chickens are flock animals and always seem happier when not alone.

You might want to go to the Breeds forum and look at the Serama threads for housing.

I'm not 100% sure I'm going to do this but I found some Serama chicks 4 hrs away. I would really prefer just one but I don't want her to be lonely. I have birds so poop, feathers, dander, and cleaning are not new to me. But a "pen" for even just one would take up more floor space than any one of my cages, so space needs to be considered.
