Hi! New here from North Texas

Hello All!

I'm new here and just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself to to all the backyard chicken enthusiast's.
My name is Chris and I have 5 hens.
Two of my chickens are Lavander Orpingtons and the other three are Mystic Onyx.
My family and I have really enjoy all the wonderful things that come with having backyard chickens.
The chickens are great pets, my daughter loves to play with them. I love to hang out with them after a long day at work I find
it very relaxing. The fresh eggs are so delicious some of the best I have ever had.
I built the coop from a design where you use a 4'x8' sheet of plywood for the floor and
it has worked great. I attached a 10'x10' dog kennel to the coop and
closed off the top with bird netting to create a small outdoor run for the chickens.
