I am new here and wanted to say HI!!
We are from Michigan - near Muskegon. We have 12 kids and have recently started amassing a future laying crew. We have a pair of white silkies, and 9 - 12 week old Barnevelders and Black Cochins, and about 20 -2 week old misc laying pullets. PLUS now we have 30 meat birds that came yesterday.
We used to do chickens every year when I ws young so thought it would be fun again - and the kids really do love them.
We have learned a ton of stuff from this forum - Thanks all!!!
