Bay area is a beautiful place to be in! Love the history of it as well as the landscape and breathtaking views!
 
I'm assuming there is a Bay Area group somewhere?

I'm up in the Los Gatos Hills, and my little hobby farm is growing exponentially. I have a rabbitry as well as a small chicken flock, and I'm weighing options for ducks at this point.

In the South Bay, there's a leisure bicycle tour called "Tour de Coop" that I saw last year but too late to participate. It's like the Open Studio artist events. Cyclists (of all abilities) ride around San Jose area visiting chicken coops and talking poultry. It would be great to get to know others who are familiar with the area and able to relate to geography-specific issues or concerns.
