(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have cared for friends' chickens in the past, but I rescued a small flock of 7 from an organic farm that was reducing their large flock, about a week and a half ago
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Red, Leghorn, Barred Rock, Ameraucana, and one sex-link hybrid
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love having the fresh eggs and thats awesome, but they are also just so freaking silly and fun to watch and interact with.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I garden, and have been working on making our 1 acre property that we bought last year into what I want it to be. I also like to see and dabble in other fiber arts
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I've got a partner who I've been with for 11 years, and we have a dog ho is approximately 13-14. I work on a farm during the summer, and do odd jobs during winter.
