Sorry to hear about your Mom. Alzheimer's is a devastating disease for families.
(From a different thread)--Thanks for appreciating those of us who work with people who have dementia. It is somewhat easier for us than family since we usually don't know the individual prior to them getting sick. We are trained in dealing with behaviors, too. Families usually aren't... And we get to go home after 8 hours or so... You're the Angel for caring for your Mom for 5+ years!
