I have been lurking her for so long that I feel like I already know a lot of you! I read in today's Parade supplement about "Cheep Chic" and the growing popularity of backyard chickens. Rob Ludlow was quoted on the growth of this website over the last three years to 70,000 members. I figured it is time I stood up to be counted!
If we are to ever change the perception of small flocks in suburban settings then it is time I join in and help spread the word!
I'll start out by thanking everyone - after reading about breeds, coop security, and food I was off to a good start right away. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful and it is fun to sit down and see what everyone is doing.
