Can't help you there but welcome to byc. I find that using my own observations is more accurate. If the chicks are panting and trying to t as far away from your heat source as possible, turn it down or pull the lamp further away. If they are all staying huddled together then their to cold and need the heat source turned up or pushed closer. If they are not doing any of those things and are pecking, scratching and chasing like normal then their happy with that temp at their age. As they get older they will want it cooler as well. At least that's what i've a served with my own chicks. Raised several clutches of chicks like that and they grew to be totally health and happy chicks.Having trouble with my two hydrometer’s they are miles apart. Can anyone tell me which is the most reliable please. I don’t want to fail my babies
