To the silkie enthusiasts: how soon can you tell if your pullet will have a nice poofy crest and/or be beardless and/or not poofy? Not exactly sure which of those go together yet.

Your roosters are adorable. Love them both.

You may want to check out the silkie thread to see some pics of bearded and non-bearded silkies. You can find it by clicking on the brown Forum tab at the top of the screen then "Chicken Breeds" then "Breeds/Genetics/Showing"
There are some really beautiful specimens there to drool over.
