Hi everyone. New here and looking forward to conversing with everyone about our flocks. I currently am building a coop and run and trying to get it finished before I put birds in it. I would like laying hens but am not sure about how much room I have for them in the coop so I'm thinking Bantams would be fun. Cute but could still get eggs-well little eggs anyway. LOL.

How big is the coop you're building? Pictures?

Thanks! The coop itself isn't very big-it's one I bought online-a prefab job-but the run is 6'x10'x6'. I live in the county but in a neighborhood-kind of a rural neighborhood and my yard is about 3/4 of an acre so I don't have a ton of room to work with building a big coop just yet. I'm sure over time it will grow
