Hello! I am a new member from Australia, I go by Poliwag or Poli online!

I've cared and nurtured 15 chickens for the past 3 years since June, 2022. I love chickens; for me they've become a necessity that makes me happy when I'm down.

I've discovered BYC from fellow chicken owners raising questions about their flock, so I thought I should finally sign up and see what else I'm missing, this site is awesome! Every chicken I've seen so far is adorable!

If you want to meet some of my chickens let me know and I'll post photos and mini biographies!
 
Hi!!! Thanks for the warm welcome!! Lemme introduce you to my first three chickens!!


The first image is Fluff the frizzle chicken!! She is a lovely, talkative chicken that we've had for nearly or over 5 years? Before becoming broody, she used to come up to the clothesline and start talking to me, it was adorable. Along with the other two, I began taking care and claiming full ownership of her in 2022.

Second photo is Ava the old english game! She's one of the more tame chickens, very talkative and loveable! Got her alongside Fluff and her best bud:

Ken, the old english game in the third image! Ken is a bit sassy and not so photogenic. Despite the name, Ken is a girl. I named her Ken before having knowledge between hens and roosters. Sorry Ken.
