Hi, My name is Jamye. I live in Bakersfield, CA and want to learn more about raising backyard chickens. I think I have a good idea of where I want to place my coop, but would love some helpful advise. I don't plan on raising hens for another year, or so. I am hoping to learn as much as I can to get things set up before I get my chicks and raise them to get out to the hen house.
