Chickens have always been a big part of my childhood! I guess its possible to say I might become a crazy chicken lady instead of a crazy cat lady
My grandfather was well known in our town as the chicken man and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the work we did together taking care of all his chickens
Now that I am in my own house I have started my own coop with my own flock
currently I have 5 Ameraucanas (probably "easter eggers") with one mistery chick that is black, and I am being shipped 10 Barred Rocks 5 Buff Orpingtons and should be getting 3 Rhode Island Red adults. Although I was raised around chickens and have a good common knowledge, any additional information or personal experiences are appreciated! I'm also very curious about feed choices and why or why nots
these are the first of the chicks to arrive! "Ameraucana"
