(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes, hatched some eggs July 29th
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 28
(3) What breeds do you have? Blue laced red Wyandotte, blue Wyandotte, I think a blue copper maran , leghorn, and I donāt know what the other few are.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Watching them run around chasing bugs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Crocheting, canning, spinning fiber, gardening, beekeeping, and crafting.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We live in north Houston area and have a house full of boys. We have an Australian shepherd who is the best chicken mom, 4 ducks, 2 cats and 28 chickens.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I had to google something and this group came up. I need all the advice and learn all I can so decided to join.
