Hi :welcome
Glad you could join the flock! Good luck with your first go at incubating. Incubating and hatching is a great experience. Exciting and nerve wracking all rolled into one! I love it, a bit too much I think.
I'm on my second hatch of the year, on day 14 today.

This is a nice article on incubating if you have not already checked it out...https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-101

Wishing you the best of luck and be sure to ask any questions you may have, everyone here to help and very friendly. Enjoy BYC :frow

Thank you for all the welcomes,
I moved from Wichita Falls (North Texas) to Cleburne (South of Ft Worth) in August. Small town but not far from the city, It was just me and my 10 YO son at home most of the time. My husband works the natural gas pipelines so he is never home so we moved here to be closer to my family. I bought a house with a little over 1/2 acre, not much but we have 4 bunnies (I think all female since no babies yet) and 3 game chickens. Im excited to have more chickens in the backyard...

You're not too far away from where we were raised; Blue Ridge for my wife and Greenville for me. Also, I have relatives in Weatherford, TX which is located just a little west of Ft. Worth.
