Hi new to group, not new to chickens

Hi, I heard of this group at a chicken swap meet that I went to in Citrus springs a few weeks ago, and went scouring for information because I have to humanly kull my first chick ever and I'm crushed. I've nursed many back from the brink. She broke her leg badly she was only 2 days old, I hatched her myself, sigh, she was an EE sigh so pretty. I found her it was deformed and bleeding. I seperated her she was eating a little I gave her her own heat lamp and nursed her with a little glucose water to incourage her to drink and she would take food, but now 2 days in she is cold no matter what and wont take food or water and doesn't want to stand. And I can't bring my self to snap her neck, or freeze her or anything like that. I thought of shootiing her with insulin might bet he quickest humane way I don't know. sigh

anyway sad way to introduce myself.
I have about 40 chicken
I have 3 aruacanas grown. 7 RRs grown
and I have 3 silkie babies 1 cochin and a bunch of mixed babies that I have hatched that make up the rest! I love to hatch.

oh yes I do, but with 7 children money would be tight and hubby is frustrated and me already wasting time sigh.
