Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself.

My names Steve and I live in Washington. This is not my first time having chickens. About 6 years ago I had 10 Rhode Island reds but had to let them go when we lost the house.

Now we have a new house on three acres, I just finished building a chicken coop based off a design I found on here called "coop there it is". My goal is for sustainability so this go around I am going to go with the heritage line of Rhode Island reds, I have no interest in showing the birds, I just want the true dual purpose bird and not the production, I plan on using them for meat and eggs.
