What's the temperature where you are???

Salopettes! The ones with internal snow gaiters built into the legs are good - even if you don't need them for snow they'll hang onto boots tight enough that you can take the whole lot on & off in one go, like waders.
Will look into this!

I still need to get the snow off of the sheds (those fabric covered ones are useless here), supposed to warm up and rain mid-week.

Currently -17C (+2F) and mix of sun and cloud - it's a nippy one.

Warm up coming for the middle of the week with rain, of course this could change and be below freezing making it freezing rain.

Hope everyone is having a good day/afternoon/evening so far.

Minutes after I took this photo the southerly burst through throwing waves, sand and leaves.

7.34p.m. and the temp has dropped 10degrees to 69.4F. Wind is 42.6kph SSW. Our high was 30C / 86F.

Do people swim in this lake? It looks like a nice spot!

Those of you wanting snow are real freaks, I’ll tell ya! That said I am not willing to share. We get most of our precipitation as snow and we are in the middle of a multi year drought and all our wells are dry for over two years now, so I am not just being selfish.
I get it. Those of you who get the deep, heavy stuff regularly are absolutely entitled to be tired of and frustrated over more snow. My area used to get regular snows, but rarely anything notable, let alone blizzard-worthy. Now, all we usually get is ice and slushy misery.
Growing up, and even when my kids were little, snow was a welcome break in the winter routine. It was a time to set aside mundane must-do's and just play. Entire neighborhoods would be out shoveling and sledding, throwing snowballs, building forts and snowmen, and making angels and hot chocolate.
Those events are rare today, and when they do make a brief appearance the air is no longer filled with laughter & screaming, happy voices. The smiling, red-cheeked faces have been replaced with blank stares into electronic devices.
So yes, I understand your frustration and feel for the extra work and stress the snow causes for you - been there, done that, too - but bear with the rest of us as we enjoy a piddling but absolutely welcome six inches of snow. The nostalgia is worth it.
