Hi, wow what a great resource this site is, I'm SO glad I found it. I'm from New Hampshire and just last week picked up 12 baby chicks of varying breeds/ages, all are doing well. We've never had chickens before, it's all so new to us. I also have two daughters, a couple of guinea pigs, two horses, three cats, a dog and five corn snakes. I started building their coop yesterday and hope to have it finished soon so it's ready for them when they are. I really would love, on the good days, to let them spend the day outside.

I've found a lot of my answers on this site through the search, but do have one question I couldn't find the answer to. I picked up a bag of dried meal worms, at what age is it okay to treat them? My chicks range in age from 2-4 weeks old.

! Great to have you aboard! By 2 weeks your chicks will be ready, willing, and able to enjoy meal worms! Best of luck to you and our flock!
