I am so glad there is a forum where I can go to and learn all I can. I am fairly new to the chicken community. Something I never ever in my entire life thought I would be apart of. In fact I hate birds and was very scared of them until I got our chickens. We have two Buff Orpingtons, two Easter Eggers, and one Rooster that we have no idea what he is. He has the most unusual coat. All of them are not quite one yet. Then we have 3 Barred Rocks and Two Lavender Orpingtons that we want more of. They are all about 3 weeks old. We live in NC near Statesville area.
