Hi here...... Little Budgie (not sure where I got that name from!) has made a full recovery

I took her to the place I thought she was from today and saw her mother and siblings running around, she was chirping away. There was no-one home but I took her inside and let her go.............. I'm a little sad to see her go

I had some abx from when my dog was poorly last week so I had put a touch of that in the water, whether it helped or not I don't know but she did have 2 puncture wounds on her back. i'm so happy I got to her in time and that I took the time to help her.... I just wish I didn't have to give her back..... I do love a happy ending. I'll be sad to leave here now I don't have a chick.

Wonderful news in hearing that the Lil' One has recovered well, and you don't have to go anywhere, I'm sure along with your cat you have another animal companion you could share with everyone. I'm sure many members here just have a fondness for animals, and from the experience you've gained taking care of this little chick you can offer advice to others who post on the site looking for help.

I'm happy to stay around. I have a great love for animals... I have 2 basset Hounds, 2 cats, 2 giant African land snails and tropical fish. I do hope in the near future I can purchase a little coop and house a chicken or two.

I used to have then a few years ago and loved them but they weren't safe in the back yard so went back to the lady who kindly gave me them. We now have another area waiting to be fenced which would be perfect for them
