I am glad to be able to meet and share stories with other chicken lovers. My husband and i have several different breeds we started our coop because we wanted to be able to have fresh eggs and meat , but its turned into a backyard petting zoo lol. We started with Rhode Island Reds now we have Rhode Island Reds , White leggings, Black Giaints, Silkies, Domaneaker chicks, Easter Eggers, BB red mixed with i cant think of the name of the bred... oh Saramona the tiny tame chickens any way its on the tip of my tounge i just cant reach it yet lol . Other than that we have adopted a bronze breasted Tom , turkey, that I named Turk , three rabbits , 4 ducks , and 3 dogs who help pertrol the yard for unwanted pest. Its great we really enjoy watching and taking care of them ...
