1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got my first chicken 4 years ago. My friend needed to rehome a polish rooster. He was my only bird for a year til my dog killed him. Then I went for it
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
too many
40 chickens
(3) What breeds do you have?
frizzle, silkie, Brahma, cross link, Rhode Island, polish, crosses, leghorns, barred rock, ameracauna, marans
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
they have cute personalities
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I garden. Love being outside.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Iām married. We have 2 horses, 2 pet cows, 3 dogs, a farrel peacock and cat. Iām a hairdresser and seamstress.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found you just researching chicken issues. And finally wanted to post.
