Hello,

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member. I have a wild mummy duck that nests in my garden and causes me much stress!

Any help or advice would be really appreciated. i have just posted my first query in the duck forum.

Thanks for replying. I find it hard not to help out - I feel a responsibility with her being in my garden. But I totally get what your saying - she wouldnt get that help in the wild. Once shes gone this time, Im covering the compost heap so that she will have to go and find a more suitable place to nest in the future. I did not expect her to have a 2nd lot of ducklings this year!

The encroachment by human beings into so much of animal habitat sometimes causes them to try to find a home wherever they can. Good luck as I have never faced this particular problem. Let us know how it works out...
